James has provided valuation services to many New Zealand museums and galleries and has project managed large scale museum and institutional valuations including the collection of the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, The National Library of New Zealand and Government House. In the last three years he has been involved in the repatriation of many significant taonga from overseas to museums and Iwi throughout New Zealand.
